What is Connecter Suite?
Connecter Suite is a local-first DAM that provides a collaborative layer over your existing file system. It synchronizes all organizational efforts across your entire team. This ensures that every artist has access to the same curated library, eliminating the time lost to redundant searching or repeated purchase of the same assets.
What is the price of Connecter Suite?
The service uses a per-user subscription model. This allows you to scale your costs in direct proportion to your team size. You pay a flat rate of €16 per person, per month for teams (with annual options for smaller setups), ensuring a predictable budget without the complexity of tiered feature gates.
All subscription plans start with a two-month full-feature free trial, which does not require credit card information.
Will our assets be uploaded to the cloud?
No. Your binary files (3D models, textures, HDRIs) stay on your local network, NAS, or HDD drive. Connecter Suite only synchronizes the metadata – the "index" of your library. This allows your team to work with the speed of local hardware while maintaining the collaborative benefits of a shared cloud database.
Where is our Workspace data stored?
You have two choices for metadata hosting:
- Cloud: Hosted on our secure servers for instant, maintenance-free setup.
- Self-hosted: Hosted on your own PostgreSQL database. This choice allows you to meet specific IT security requirements or data residency laws by keeping your organizational data entirely within your own infrastructure.
Can we deploy Connecter Suite totally on-premises?
While you can host your Workspace metadata on a local server for maximum privacy, the Suite requires an internet connection for team administration and license validation. This hybrid model gives you the security of local data storage without the overhead of managing a fully isolated, air-gapped server environment.
